Nail Problems Can Be Resolved....

There are different Nail Problems that plagues human natural nails, and they can make the individual sufferers to feel sad and inadequate, to say the least.

Minor Nail Problems are common and can affect people of all ages, but many of them can be avoided or easilyrectified.

Some of these problems must have affected us as individuals at one time or another. It might have been.....

From time to time people can notice a change in the appearance of their nails. These changes are caused by different factors which could be external i.e environmental or internal.

Pitting.

This is the presence of small depressions on the nails surfaces, which makes them look like sewing thimble.It can be caused by trauma, injury or diseases. It can also be as a result of hereditary factors.

White Spots.

This condition is quite common and can be caused by minor trauma or can be due to zinc deficiency. It ispossible to get white spots sometimes, but they usually grow out with the nails.

Black Nails.

This is caused by acute trauma or injury. For instance jamming a finger or thumb in a door,or stubbing a toe.The blood from the bruise or injury could be seen under the nails, giving them the black or purple color. Invariably this color will grow out with the nails as the injury heals.

Nail Separation.

Nails can sometimes be separated from the nail bed. Separated fingernails can sometime take about 6 monthsto grow, while separated toenails would take between 12-18 months to grow back. Major injury or disease cancause this to happen.

Hang Nails.

These are small pieces of skin which have split away from the cuticles and nail walls. They are quite common in nail bitters. Hangnails should be cut rather than pulled at.


Suffice it to say that you should try as much as possible to prevent injury or trauma to your nails, and treat nailproblems as soon as they happen in order to prevent bigger problems, or make things worse.
